Although there are some intense races in south-central Pennsylvania, local election officials expect only about a quarter to a third of voters, maybe, to cast ballots in Tuesday’s municipal election.

Gerald Feaser Jr., the director of registrations and elections for Dauphin County, said he expects turnout to reach 25% to 30%, typical for a non-presidential year, but still too low for his liking.
