A 72-year-old woman who was hit head-on in a car crash last month died of her injuries 29 days after the collision, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.

Nancy Hoover, 72, of York City, was pronounced dead on April 25 at Wellspan York Hospital, according to a report from the coroner’s office.

A man and woman were found dead early Wednesday morning after a shooting in a Lancaster County home, police said.

The pair, whose identities haven’t been released as of Wednesday morning, were found dead around 4:05 a.m. in a home on the 300 block of Sun Hill Road in Penn Township, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police.

A 71-year-old woman was found dead after a Tuesday morning fire in her home, York County authorities said.

The woman was oxygen-dependent and smoking before a fire that started early Tuesday morning on the first block of Chesapeake Estates in Jackson Township, according to Coroner Pamela Gay.

Scott Quickel has been identified as the man killed in this tragic tree fall, the Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall told Daily Voice.

The tree fell onto a house at 804 Baltimore Pike/US Route 94 in South Middleton Township, Gardeners, at 3:10 a.m. on March 11, according to Cumberland County Emergency Dispatch.

Armed man shot by police during central Pa. standoff has died

An armed man who was shot after firing at three Lancaster police officers during a November confrontation in the city has died, prosecutors announced on Wednesday.

Attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges filed against William Oneill, 40, were dropped after he died Tuesday night from injuries connected to the Nov. 29 shooting on the 100 block of Hershey Avenue.

Head-on crash killed 11-year-old girl in central Pa. on Christmas Eve

An 11-year-old girl died Christmas Eve after a driver veered out of their traffic lane and struck the vehicle in which she was traveling in Lancaster County.

The 8:50 a.m. crash Sunday on Old Pennsylvania Pike in Salisbury Township also seriously injured two others in the girl’s car. The coroner confirmed the girl’s death Tuesday but did not release her name because she was a minor.

A high schooler from Lancaster was killed last month after traveling to Baltimore to buy a car advertised on Facebook Marketplace, according to reports.

Carlos Carrazana-Ricardo, 18, who attended J.P. McCaskey High School, drove 80 miles with a friend to west Baltimore to look at the vehicle on Sunday Nov. 26. The teen was shot in the head just before 8 p.m. as he drove away from the deal, after he decided against purchasing the vehicle, according to WBFF in Baltimore.

A Franklin County woman was trying to get yard work done over the weekend when a falling tree killed her, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Tammy Smith, 42, of Chambersburg, died between about 3 p.m. and 4:52 p.m. Saturday on the 2800 block of Woodstock Road in Greene Township, according to state police.

3-year-old boy fatally shot in the head at central Pa. campground: coroner

A 3-year-old boy visiting central Pennsylvania with his family died Friday evening from a gunshot wound to the head, Lancaster County authorities said.

Pennsylvania (WPVI) — The National Transportation Safety Board has revealed the cause of a plane crash that killed two people in Bucks County back in 2022.

The pilot, 55-year-old Brian Filippini, and flight instructor, 74-year-old Alfred Piranian, died in February when their plane went down in Hilltown Township.

According to a report from Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened on Route 22 West in Howe Township, Perry County, at 6:44 a.m. when Tonee Ellis, of Norristown, went off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
