Central Pa. man found guilty of assaulting officers during Jan. 6 attack

A Cumberland County man was found guilty last week of assaulting law enforcement and multiple other charges related to his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Joseph Pastucci, 50, of New Cumberland, was convicted of three felony offenses, including obstruction of an official proceeding, civil disorder, and assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers, along with eight misdemeanor charges.

Convicted sex offender operated carnival games across Central Pennsylvania; PSP

A convicted sex offender who allegedly operated carnival games across Central Pennsylvania has been arrested by Pennsylvania State Police.

State Police say Richard Lee Ridley, 53, owned and operated a carnival game business under the name R.S. Entertainment despite being deemed a sexually violent predator.

Killer chased man through central Pa. convenience store, fired fatal shot over shelves

A jury convicted a 22-year-old Lancaster man Wednesday in connection to a fatal shooting at a central Pennsylvania convenience store in 2022.

The shooting – which killed 19-year-old Damian Santiago – took place inside the Sunoco/A-Plus on the 100 block of W. Orange Street on March 14, 2022, the DA’s office says.

Central Pa. woman convicted of husband’s Valentine’s Day killing: ‘She was lying in wait’

A Lancaster County woman lured her husband to a local bank on Valentine’s Day last year and methodically shot him five times, a judge decided this week.

Danielle Bewley, 30, was convicted Tuesday of the first-degree murder of her husband Mitchell Bewley, 27, on Feb. 14, 2021.
