Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny weather in the midstate this weekend — other than Sunday, when there is a 50-50 chance that showers and storms hit the area.
Friday and Saturday will be sunny with highs ranging from the mid to upper 70s, the National Weather Service said.
Showers are possible during the day Sunday. Thunderstorms enter the forecast in the evening and have a 40% chance of striking before 2 a.m. Monday.
Early forecasts for next week show mostly clear and sunny weather, with highs in the 70s or low 80s.
