A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect through Wednesday evening over central Pennsylvania, ahead of storms that could forecasters say produce gusty winds and small hail.
The National Weather Service issued the watch at noon until 8 p.m. The watch is in effect for Adams, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Schuylkill and York counties.
Forecasters said there is a low chance of widespread, hazardous weather.
The storms will clear up by Wednesday night and lead into a sunny Thursday, with highs in the low 80s.
