Schools in Central Pennsylvania prepare for coronavirus

As concerns of the Coronavirus continue to grow, school districts are preparing.

“There’s a need to not alarm people, but there’s also a need to be transparent and for parents to be assured that schools do have their children’s best interest at the forefront of everything they do,” said Mark Walters, public information officer for York County. “We are getting as much information as we can from the local health experts, sharing it with the school districts, so they can then position themselves as they need to.”

Parents across the commonwealth have been given letters with similar general language from school districts.
