Mayor vows to veto marijuana decriminalization in central Pa. town despite council approval

The mayor of North York on Tuesday night vowed to veto immediately an ordinance approved by borough council that would decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana.

Just moments after the borough council voted 3-2 in favor of the ordinance, Mayor Nancy Brunk said she would veto, offering no further explanation.
