HARRISBURG, Pa. — As we’ve reported, several Sweet Home Health Care workers say they went weeks without pay.
Now, women across Central Pennsylvania are using the power of social media to help them, and other women, in times of need.
One of those women, Maria Roche says the missed paychecks nearly left her and her children homeless.
“My landlord texted me saying you got 30 days. Either move out or pay the rent,” Roche said.
