A growing discount grocery chain is opening its ninth store in Pennsylvania.
On Nov. 18, Lidl will host a grand opening with ribbon cutting and giveaways at its newest store at 2001 Columbia Ave. in East Hempfield Township in Lancaster County.
The first 100 shoppers will receive a gift card ranging from $5 to $100, and shoppers can enter to win a $500 Lidl gift card.
“They redeveloped their site, removing vacant, worn down buildings along Columbia Avenue and turned it into a top notch grocery store. I am excited to see them move into our community and offer a wide variety of unique merchandize for sale to our residents. I look forward to shopping at Lidl,” said Scott Russell, East Hempfield Township chairman.
