Gas prices spiking again in South-Central Pennsylvania

Gas prices are the highest they have been in months in South-Central Pennsylvania.

Analysts say most of the blame can be placed on the calendar and the end of the winter season.

“Refineries start doing maintenance to prepare for the summer driving season. That maintenance sees shut downs, less gasoline being produced and also a switch-over to summer gasoline, which will start here in just a week or two across much of the country,” said Patrick De Haan of Gasbuddy.
