Central Pa. cemetery owner gets federal prison for $500K fraud

A former central Pennsylvania cemetery owner who scammed customers out of about $500,000 will serve one year and one month in federal prison for the con.

Theodore Martin, 57, formerly of York, received that punishment from U.S. Middle District Chief Judge John E. Jones III.

Martin’s wife, Arminda, is to be sentenced for sentencing in the conspiracy to commit mail fraud case next month, U.S. Attorney David Freed said Tuesday.
