Another inch of rain could be coming to central Pa. before end of Thursday: forecasters

Day-long rain showers will continue through Thursday night and could bring central Pennsylvania another half or full inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Minor “nuisance flooding” is possible in parts of the midstate Thursday, but forecasters don’t expect significant impact, meteorologist Bill Gartner said. No flooding has been reported in central Pennsylvania as of 1:30 p.m.

Gartner said drivers should use extra caution to avoid hydroplaning on slick roads.
