The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society announced Monday they are unable to accept any strays or owner-surrendered large dogs.
According to a Facebook post by the humane society, they currently have 22 dogs in the kennel ready for adoption. Of those dogs, 19 are unclaimed strays dating back to 2022.
