A powerful storm system moved through the Philadelphia region on Tuesday into Wednesday and knocked out power for thousands of people.
The storm pounded the Delaware Valley with heavy rain, thunderstorms and high winds with the potential for flooding. The heaviest rain and most powerful winds have moved out overnight, but it also caused headaches for travelers at Philadelphia International Airport and forced some schools to open late on Wednesday.
