Christmas didn’t feel merry for Alexis Johnson and her family after someone shot their 11-year-old cat named Chuck, impaling him with an arrow.
Johnson’s husband found the wounded cat with an arrow sticking out of his abdomen at their back door the night before Christmas Eve.
“I wasn’t prepared for what I was going to see,” Johnson said. At first, she thought Chuck had been shot by a bullet. “To see the arrow completely impaling him was very jarring.”
