Fox’s Pizza Den opening another restaurant in central Pa.

Fox’s Pizza Den is coming closer to Harrisburg.

The Pennsylvania based chain said it’s opening a restaurant in one of the vacant units at a retail building at 1609 State Road in Duncannon. A Fox’s spokeswoman said they are looking for a franchise owner and hope to open in early 2022.

Fox’s is headquartered in Murrysville and was founded in 1971 by Jim Fox who opened the first pizza shop in Pitcairn, Allegheny County. Fox was also instrumental in launching pizza home delivery in the Pittsburgh region.
