Rain showers coupled with powerful wind gusts could make an already chilly Tuesday in central Pennsylvania feel worse.
Forecasts show rain is expected in the region starting at 7 a.m. and continuing through 1 p.m. A slight chance of rain is possible later in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday’s highs are expected to climb to around 42 degrees.
Rain clouds will clear before Wednesday, but the gusty winds will not, forecasters said.
The NWS projects up to 20-mph are possible Wednesday, with highs in the low 40s.
Central Pennsylvania will be dry for the rest of the week; however, most days will not break the 40s. The warmest day of the week is Thursday, when highs are expected to reach near 50.
