Schools across Central Pennsylvania set to reopen today with virus safety plans in place

It’s the highly anticipated day for many families and school districts across the area as many of you are getting ready for the bus, while others may be getting ready to log onto the computer.

Between Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster and York counties, 16 school districts will return to class; reopening doors amid the pandemic for the first time since Governor Wolf closed them in early April.

Students at Cumberland Valley School District will begin classes today, along with several schools in Dauphin County, including Harrisburg School District, as well as Lower Dauphin, Middletown Area, Derry Township and Steelton Highspire.

In Lancaster County, Columbia, Conestoga Valley, Elco, Elizabethtown, Manheim Central and Solanco will start today.
